Details of the 2020 Professional Services Recognition Scheme have now been announced, including new categories which reflect our professional services values of collaboration, respect, integrity and trust.

Our values underpin everything we do and were developed by professional services staff following a series of workshops and a staff survey, culminating in a special event at Madingley Hall. This saw staff come together to discuss the top values, explore what they mean in practice and how to embed them.

A year of challenge

Following a year of great challenge for the University – and for us all individually – in many different ways, our professional services staff have demonstrated extraordinary dedication and resilience in continuing to support the University’s academic endeavour, in circumstances which few, if any, of us have experienced before. The Professional Services Recognition Scheme therefore provides an ideal opportunity to recognise and celebrate our professional services colleagues, irrespective of whether they are within a School, department, faculty or non-School institution. The scheme is open to individuals and teams and anyone may make a nomination.

The 2020 scheme is open for applications from 9am on Monday 7 September to 5pm on Friday 25 September 2020.
