***UPDATE: Applications now open until 30 August***

The University of Cambridge is an incredibly attractive place to study and staff members work constantly to deliver a great experience to those who come here, both from a learning and a living perspective. Now you too could take part in that indefinable ‘Cambridge experience’ by enrolling for a one year, part-time undergraduate course at the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE), with a choice from a wide range of subjects.

One of the University’s core values is to support learning throughout life and the Vice-Chancellor has announced six new 100% tuition fee bursaries for employees who would like to engage with continuing education, either for the purposes of professional development or personal enrichment.

ourcambridge and the University’s Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) have collaborated to arrange this special programme of bursaries for professional staff of the University who have not previously studied at higher education level or achieved an HE qualification.

This new bursary scheme will enable University employees to benefit from studying part-time at Cambridge, whilst maintaining existing professional or personal commitments.

The Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) is based at historic Madingley Hall, just to the west of Cambridge. It focuses on providing part-time courses and flexible learning options for adults. These include undergraduate and postgraduate certificates and diplomas, Masters’ degrees as well as short and online courses.

ICE offers tuition by Cambridge lecturers and industry experts to those whose professional or personal commitments would preclude full-time study. Many courses are open access and widen participation in higher education to more adult learners.

The bursaries will enable successful applicants to study on any ICE part-time, 60-credit, undergraduate Certificate course during academic year 2019-20. Details of the eligible courses can be seen at:
